Webinar Description: This webinar will explore the use of arts and critical dialogue in addressing racism, sexism, and classism in substance use disorder treatment. The speakers will briefly describe the existing literature and then offer an example of how art and critical dialogue was used as a part of a substance use disorder evidence-based intervention.

Educational Objectives:

  • To learn about the use of arts and critical dialogue to address sexism, racism, and classism in substance use disorder treatment in substance use treatment
  • To learn about how peer facilitators can incorporate art and critical dialogue in their practice
  • To explore how people with substance use disorders experience art and critical dialogue in treatment
