Webinar Description:

The purpose of this live, virtual 4-part learning collaborative is to discuss how personal experiences shape perspectives on medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) and explore manners in which to shift our internal perspectives to most practically and effectively apply MOUD into peer support programs.

Educational Objectives:

  • Identify the importance of MOUD and its potential to improve peer support services and other forms of care.
  • Identify common misconceptions and challenges peer supporters face in applying and implementing MOUD.
  • Examine how their lived experience and expertise shapes their understanding of MOUD.
  • Employ realistic action steps to support the application of MOUD and advocate for increased understanding and awareness in peer support.
