Diane Snyder Cowan, Director of the Bereavement Center, oversees on-site and community bereavement programs, as well as all of Hospice of the Western Reserve’s expressive therapy programs. She chairs the nonprofit agency’s Ethics Committee, and leads the Bereavement Professional Section, National Council of Hospice and Palliative Professionals. Snyder Cowan presents at both the regional and national levels on the topics of expressive therapies; grief, loss and survivorship; and, increasingly, community crisis counseling. A Board Certified Music Therapist, she is also certified in hospice and palliative care administration.
