PCSS-MOUD assists in providing in-person and virtual live trainings in four and eight hour increments. Our 4 Hour Live MOUD Training – previously known as the Half & Half training – is a good option to give your audience a primer on treating opioid use disorder. Our 8 Hour Live MOUD Training expands that to incorporate additional substance use disorder topics for a full day of training that satisfies the DEA’s 8 hour training requirement.
PCSS-MOUD requires that all instructors are approved by our clinical experts prior to leading a training. If an instructor has previously led waiver trainings through PCSS, they are already approved. If an organization wishes to host a training but does not have an approved instructor, PCSS-MOUD can assist in locating one. All requests that require PCSS-MOUD to locate an instructor should be submitted at least two months in advance.
While PCSS-MOUD does not charge any fee for these trainings, the organization requesting the training is responsible for covering any costs related to the live event (ex. classroom, A/V equipment, streaming platform).
Continuing Education Credits can also be provided for live trainings upon request. All requests for CE must be submitted two months in advance.
