Target Audience: This activity is designed for nurses, MAT team providers, addictions specialists, SUD project directors, managers, and facilitators. This activity is accredited for nurses.

Educational Objectives:

  • Analyze trends of current and national opioid and other substances overdose data.
  • Summarize naloxone administration and facts regarding naloxone.
  • Examine the availability and use of Fentanyl Test Strips.
  • Discuss safety and harm reduction strategies.

Continuing Education information:
This course has been approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing for a maximum of 1.00 Nursing CE. The licensee must retain this document for a period of four (4) years after the course concludes.
